SUMMERY

The name of the F-5 is based upon a tornado and its vortex or vacuum. For those of you who are not aware of the term vortex, it is a spiral motion of fluid with a limited area, or a whirling mass that draws everything near it, toward the center. That is exactly what the F-5 Injection System does. Not only is the F-5 the strongest on the market, but it also can produce more pressure to force the resin into the biggest chips.
There are several other tools used on the market today. One of which is an electric pump used to pull a high level of vacuum on the chips, it then disburses resin into the chip, and the pump’s action is then reversed to place pressure on the resin, pushing it into the chipped area. This cycle is repeated several times, pulling out air bubbles and pushing in resin. These tools are generally expensive and require a considerable amount of time and maintenance. The clean up time is especially significant. The tip or the applicator end of the tool must be cleaned thoroughly after each application to remove any excess resin. Additionally, the pump wastes resign which cannot be recovered for further repairs. The pumps themselves are fairly complicated, have a high failure rate and also are very expensiv
e to own.
The F-5 is a Patented injection system that requires no pumps for the vacuum or pressure to occur, no clean up time and is always ready for the next job.
We can actually say that with the F-5 Injection System you will be able to do more repairs faster, at a lower cost and no maintenance, which means more profit in your pocket.
You will notice that the only metal used with the F-5 is the stainless steal vortex rod. The F-5 is manufactured out of Lexan and Acrylic, two of the strongest plastics on the market.
There is
yet another feature to this F-5 that makes it so unique. There are only 2 parts that need changing and they only cost pennies. That will be covered later in this manual.
We know that you will enjoy your new Patented F-5 Injection System, because you are earning more money at less time.
HOW IT WORKS

The Resin Release notch (No 8), between the Upper and Lower Injector rod (No. 6 & 7), allows the resin to fall in to the Vortex Chamber when it is in the Lock position.
You should NEVER turn the injector cap when it isn’t mounted on the Windshield!
Vacuum procedure: Imagine the injector is mounted to the windshield, the injector tip is pressed to windshield by adjusting the thumb screws and you are ready to do a repair. The first thing that happens is when the injector cap is turned in the counter clockwise direction, the lower injector rod(No 7), passes through the o-ring (No 3) and starts the vortex cycle or vacuum. The higher the rod is pulled to the top, the stronger the vacuum is. At the same time the resin that is in the Vortex chamber falls to the tip. (No 4). Let stand 3 to 5 min.
Injection procedure: now the vacuum has been pulled and injection can begin.
The injector cap is turned in the clockwise direction. This forces the injector rod back down to the tip.
Remember, there is resin in the tip. The pressure begins when the lower injector rod reaches the top of the rubber injector tip. The hole of the rubber injector tip is full of resin. When you continue to turn the injector cap, slowly, the resin is pushed into the chip. When the repair is done, turn the cap in the Lock position.
This pushes the release notch pass the vacuum seal and releases the resin to refill the chamber again.
The injector is ready for the next repair.
